Happy Humpday Haiku #2
My Boss
Angry employers:
Upping intimidation.
Forever. Always.
Forever. Always.
Since living in Korea (and by living, I mean spending no more than four quality days in this wonderful country), the people have been generally painfully nice. Even my boss was accommodating the first day I met her. That first impression has largely shifted to take on its true form over the last two days to account for the enormous amount of stress she is under. The words "Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn" come to mind.
This haiku was going to be about the discrepancy in time between me and my audience, and when to post my humpday haikus. However, the only emotion I can seem to muster is terror, for that is what this woman evokes in me. I'm hopeful that her position will improve gradually over the next few weeks as school really gets under way and she becomes less stressed by routine. Then again, as evidenced by previous post, perhaps I'm being too hopeful. ASGF.
