Bureaucracy

Inefficiency:

It breeds creativity

By those affected.

            I understand the need to organize and categorize life in all its various intricacies, but if ever there was an epitomal entity that could dissuade someone from that need it would be a bureaucratic institution. Granted, no system is perfect, but I find it astounding how inefficient bureaucracies operate (even at full potential). Perhaps I ask too much of people, or expect too much out of life. Maybe standards are too high. All I know is that the constraints imposed by bureaucratic dictations often yield interesting and creative responses by those directly effected. In the end, it's either adapt or die.
