I had the pleasure of traveling for the first time in Korea this past weekend. The group I was with stayed our first night in a small seaside college town called Sokcho. The following morning (which so happened to be Buddha's birthday) we made our way to Seoraksan National Park, where we hiked up to a small buddhist temple residing in the side of a mountain. The last day saw us in the Han River Valley about 3 hours south of Sokcho for some ziplining and relaxation until our bus headed back to Daegu later in the evening.
