Happy Humpday Haiku #42

Little People

Children are just that, 

Little people who feel and

Care and stare with awe.

            If you would've told me that I would develop a sense of attachment towards children during my time here, I would've scoffed at you (not that I ever harbored hatred towards children, I just felt I never possessed to patience for them). However the more time I spend with them the more I understand that there is very little difference between children and adults. Or rather, by watching my students I've been able to distinguish the unique qualities each of them possess, speculating what they might be like as adults. I find that their future selves wouldn't be greatly changed from their selves today. The only thing that is missing between these selves are years of various experiences to help influence their personality.
